George Calvert was named chief investment officer of Middleburg Trust Company.

Troy Yenser has joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial adviser.

Marie Barte has been promoted to vice president for sales.

John Eckler has been promoted to vice president for information technology.

Risa Gomez has been promoted to vice president for financial services.

Peyton Woodard has been promoted to vice president for corporate finance.

Lyn Clark joined as an in-store health coach. Clark will provide free health consultations to customers every Tuesday. She attended the Integrative Institute for Nutrition.

Sara Rozmus joined as a marketing assistant. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kirk Schroder joined as a food advocate. Schroder will compile and distribute information about food, agriculture and environmental news. He attended the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia.

Timothy Skirven joined as graphic design manager. He attended James Madison University and previously worked for the Frontier Project.

Hospitality

Robert Cillizza joined the Westin Richmond as executive chef. He attended the Culinary Institute of America after 28 years in the Marine Corps. He was previously a private chef for Donald Trump and Al Roker.

Higher education

Lisa Freiman joined the VCU Institute for Contemporary Art as its inaugural director. She previously worked at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Mark Gordon, chief executive of Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center, will chair the American Heart Association’s 2013 Richmond Heart Walk. It will be his second term serving as chair.

Dana Puga joined the governing council for the Virginia Association of Museums. She is the prints and photographs collection specialist at the Library of Virginia. She attended the University of Mary Washington and Johns Hopkins University.
