ThompsonMcMullan announced that Courtney M. Malveaux has joined the firm as a director. As Virginia’s labor commissioner through October 2013, he directed state enforcement of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Payment of Wage and Minimum Wage law, and a variety of state and federal labor laws. He is a former assistant attorney general and a former deputy counsel to the attorney general of Virginia.

Lee Bujakowski joined Mark & Harrison’s Hopewell office. He is a graduate of James Madison University and received his law degree from Tulane University Law Schools.

Charles J. Homiller Jr., joined the litigation team at MeyerGoergen PC in Henrico County. Homiller graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hampden-Sydney College and received his law degree from the University of Richmond.

Entrust Financial Credit Union announced the promotion of Lisa M. Lambrecht as the organization’s new president and chief executive. She received her bachelor’s in accounting and management from Old Dominion University and her MBA from Devry University.

Capitol Securities Management welcomed its newest financial advisor, James Massengill, to its Richmond branch. Massengill was most recently an independent advisor with Lincoln Financial.

Gov. Bob McDonnell reappointed Peter E. Broadbent Jr. to the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library Board of Regents. Broadbent is a partner at Christian & Barton, where he focuses his legal practice on intellectual property and communications law.

Neathawk Dubuque & Packett hired Heather Turton to be a media buyer in Richmond.

Ann Kelly has been promoted to vice president of finance and accounting with responsibility for HHHunt’s Homes Division. Kelly returned to HHHunt in 2012 after working in the accounting department from 2001 to 2008.

Jill Crews has been promoted to vice president of marketing and branding at HHHunt.

Technology

The Agent Alliance named Amy Humphreys vice president of the telecom/IT consortium. Humphreys worked most recently as the director of advancement for the Richmond Montessori School. A graduate of the College of William and Mary, Humphreys has a degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.

AT&T announced that Jillian Miller has been named the area manager for AT&T’s retail stores in Richmond as well as Charlottesville and Harrisonburg.

The 2014 Virginia Manufacturers Association announced its new officers and board of directors. Brett Vassey remains president and chief executive, while Rob Hogan of Newport News Shipbuilding was elected chairman, succeeding Joe Internicola of DuPont. Scott Tilley of STIHL was elected vice chairman, Jamie Baisden of QMT Associates will serve as treasurer and Tanya Cook of Philip Morris USA will serve as secretary. Larry Souverielle, Dean Thompson and Chris Tonk were elected unanimously as at-large directors to join 22 others as members of the 2014 board of directors.
