Samuel T. Bernier has joined Moran Reeves & Conn. He focuses his practice on the defense of healthcare providers against medical negligence claims. He has degrees from the Hawaii Pacific University and UR.

David Bratton has been promoted to general manager of Bay Diesel.

Greg Bullivant has been hired as a mechanical designer for Dunlap and Partners Engineers.

Allan Altholz has been named director of marketing and communications at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. He had been with the Virginia Lottery. He has degrees from University of Miami and the New York Institute of Technology.

Dr. Christopher Richardson is director for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and the director for both Union Presbyterian Seminary libraries, William Smith Morton Library in Richmond and the Charlotte campus library.

Chris Beach is executive director of First Things First, effective June 29.
