A lubricating oil comprising a major amount of a base oil and a minor amount of an additive package, and the additive package comprises at least one friction modifier selected from compounds of the formulae II, III and IV, and carboxylate salts thereof: ##STR00001## wherein R is a linear or branched, saturated, unsaturated, or partially saturated hydrocarbyl having about 8 to about 28 carbon atoms, n is 0 or 1; and the carboxylate salts have a cation that is an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, group IIB metal, or ammonium cation; and a dispersant and/or a detergent wherein said lubricating oil comprises at total of at least 5 wt. % of the dispersant and/or the detergent. Methods of using the engine oil to improve thin film and/or boundary layer friction in an engine are also provided.

System and method for generating heat at target area of patient’s body
Patent No. 9,295,517
A method and system is provided for generating and distributing heat at a target area of a patient’s body for treating lesions, tumors, cancers, body pain and nerve pain. The generated heat and the tissue temperature are monitored in real time. The system comprises a radio frequency (RF) antenna for receiving the RF waves generated from the RF generator. A RF absorber comprising several closed loop circuits and a miniaturized thermometer are implanted inside the body close to the target tissue. A controller/optimizer regulates a frequency and a transmission timing of the RF waves based on the measured target tissue temperature. The thermometer, the RF absorber and the wireless transmitter are placed in a screw. The RF absorber is made of metal with RF absorption rate higher than that of biological tissues. A ultrasound energy is also used to treat the target area.

An MMS sensor assembly includes a U-shaped bottom housing that forms a recess in which is received a conductor whose current is to be sensed and a top housing arranged to be removably latched to the bottom housing. At least one magnetic field sensor is situated within the top housing, such the magnetic field sensor is positioned adjacent the conductor when the top housing is latched to the bottom housing, and is removable from the sensor assembly for repair or replacement. Circuitry connected to the magnetic field sensor includes a data storage device to store correction/compensation tables and/or equations for self-calibration or correction of the sensor.

A method, system, and computer program product for cognitive state supported automotive travel are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A detection is made that an event in a vehicle is outside of acceptable bounds for that event. A determination is made whether the event being outside of acceptable bounds is a result of a cognitive state of a person operating the vehicle. Responsive to the event being a result of the cognitive state of the person, an indication of the cognitive state of the person being below a threshold level of cognitive abilities is generated. An action corresponding to the cognitive state is performed. The action causes the vehicle to operate with improved safety.

Process of preparing printing solution and making patterned cigarette wrappers

A process for making patterned cigarette wrapper includes the steps of: preparing a printing solution including the steps of: mixing at least water and a starch to form a starch mixture, heating the starch mixture to a temperature of at least about 180.degree. F. preferably for at least about 30 minutes to release amylopectin and amylose, adding propylene glycol to the starch mixture, and mixing the starch mixture and propylene glycol to form a printing solution, wherein the solution is maintained and applied at elevated temperature (120.degree. F. to 150.degree. F.). The process also includes providing a base web of wrapper and applying the printing solution to the wrapper in a predetermined pattern.

Particulate superabsorbent polymer composition having improved stability

The present invention relates to a particulate superabsorbent polymer composition having improved stability comprising a polymer comprising from about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt % of a neutralized aluminum salt solution applied to the surface of a particulate superabsorbent polymer; wherein an aqueous solution of the neutralized aluminum salt has a pH value from about 5.5 to about 8 and the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has an original Free Swell Gel Bed Permeability (FSGBP) of about 20.times.10.sup.-8 cm.sup.2 to about 200.times.10.sup.-8 cm.sup.2 and a compressibility of from about 1.30 mm.sup.2/N to about 4 mm.sup.2/N prior to subjecting the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition to a Processing Test; and subsequent to subjecting the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition to the Processing Test, the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has a permeability stability index of from about 0.60 to about 0.99.
