Brice Anderson, managing editor of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, has retired.  He had been with the paper for 37 years.

Tom Gallagher, president and CEO of the Central Virginia Better Business Bureau, will retire by December 31, 2017.

Deal have been promoted to partners with Hunton & Williams.  Goldman focuses his practice on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and cross-border transactions for both public and private companies.  Goldman has degrees from the Virginia Military Institute, Boston College and the University of Richmond.  Deal focuses his practice on private equity and venture capital and has degrees from the University of Virginia and Washington and Lee University.

Ross Allen has joined Owen and Owens as an associate. He focuses his practice in bankruptcy, personal injury, real estate, family law, criminal defense, traffic offenses, and civil litigation matters.

Chance Davis is the lower school manager at Boys Home of Virginia.

Nancy Bagranoff has been appointed to the board of directors for TowneBank.  She is the dean of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.

Andrew Depcrynski has joined Small & Associates as the general manager and recruiter.  He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and had been with Can Can Brasserie.
