Jeffrey W. Legro has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Richmond, effective July 1. He currently is the vice provost for Global Affairs and Taylor Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia. He has degrees from Middlebury College and UCLA.

Michael Shaw is the executive director for The Hermitage at Cedarfield. He had been with Westminster Shores in Florida. He is a graduate of King’s College in Pennsylvania.

John Morse is director of horticulture for Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, effective July. He had been the superintendent of horticulture for the Morris County Park Commission, Morrisstown, N.J. He has degrees from Cornell University.

Joe Mazzo is chief executive officer for John Randolph Medical Center, effective May 30.  He had been with Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.  He has degrees from Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., and Columbia University in New York.

Natalie Chrismer has joined G2 Orthopedics and Sports Medicine as a physician assistant. She has degrees from Bryn Mawr College and Yale University.

JP McGuire has joined Kinsale Insurance Co. as an associate underwriter. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College.

John Moss is a senior electrical designer.  He had been with EG in Fairfax, Va.

Rick Messer is director of electrical engineering.  He had been with the commonwealth of Virginia Bureau of Capital Outlay Management.
