Union Bankshares Corp. has announced the retirement of D. Anthony Peay, Executive VP and Chief Banking Officer, effective August 31. He joined Union in 1994 as the CFO after 13 years as a CPA with Deloitte. Fredericksburg Regional President Jon Wallace will be interim head of the commercial teams.
Col. Thierry G. Dupuis, the chief of police for Chesterfield County, is retiring, effective Sept. 1. He joined the Chesterfield County Police Department in 1979 and was appointed chief in 2007.
