Richmond’s strip club king has further fortified his holdings.

An LLC tied to William Pyliaris, who owns the bulk of the gentlemen’s clubs in the region, last month purchased 3300 Norfolk St., which houses the Scott’s Addition location of PaperMoon Gentlemen’s Club.

The purchase price for the two-story, 13,000-square-foot building was $875,000, according to city records. The seller was PaperMoon owner Frazier T. Boyd III.

The June 26 deal gives Pyliaris control of both PaperMoon locations, after he purchased the PaperMoon South Gentleman’s Club property at 6710 Midlothian Turnpike in December 2016 for $1 million, according to city property records. Both strip clubs remain operational and are under the same ownership, according to employees.

Including the two locations from the PaperMoon franchise, Pyliaris now owns seven strip clubs across Richmond metro, adding to the CandyBar on Hull Street Road, Daddy Rabbits on Broad Rock Boulevard, Pure Pleasure at Labrook Concourse, Babydolls in Hopewell and Club Rouge in Shockoe Bottom.

Pyliaris did not return calls requesting comment Friday afternoon.

Boyd could not be reached for comment about the sale of the PaperMoon locations. He also listed his 7,000-square-foot home beside the Country Club of Virginia’s James River Course last summer.

The PaperMoon Scott’s Addition deal also adds to Pyliaris’ bank of real estate holdings across the city.

One of his entities, 3rd Street LLC, owns the 24-hour 3rd Street Diner at 218 E. Main St.

A couple blocks north of the diner, Pyliaris owns 5 and 7 E. Broad St. – conjoined buildings being renovated to update the windows, doors and spaces in the four-story buildings, according to permits filed with the city. Prior to its renovation, 7 E. Broad St. housed the after-hours Old Dominion Club.

Pyliaris also has a significant footprint in Shockoe Bottom, where under another business entity – Blue Label LLC – his firm owns property at 3, 5, 7 and 9 S. 15th St., as well as 1501 and 1503 E. Main St.

Pyliaris owns a majority of the buildings that house his strip clubs through various business entities, except CandyBar, which is housed in the Circle Plaza Shopping Center near the intersection of East Belt Boulevard and Hull Street.

Correction/Omission: An earlier version of this story reported Pyliaris owns six gentlemen’s clubs in the area. He in fact owns seven, including Babydolls in Hopewell, which was omitted from the previous story’s tally.

Billy Pyliaris is a great operator and will be an asset to the Scott’s Addition community.
