The porous technologies division specializes in producing components for the transfer of small amounts of fluids and vapors for end-use devices such as drug testing kits, printer cartridges, air fresheners, and writing instruments. The division also has facilities in Reinbek, Germany and Ningbo, China.
“With the acquisition now complete, the team is positioned to begin implementing the global growth strategy with our increased product portfolio,” said Russ Rogers, president of the Filtrona Porous Technologies division.
The company began in 1954 as the U.S. Filter Corporation producing cigarette filters.
