careersJames F. Stutts will retire from Dominion, where he is a vice president and general counsel. Carter M. Reid will become general counsel. Stutts started at Dominion in 1997.  Before that, he was at McGuireWoods.

Marcus Jones is leaving the City of Richmond, where he was deputy chief administrative officer for finance. He is taking over as city manager of Norfolk.

Wayne Turnage is leaving Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was chief of staff. Turnage was previously chief of staff to then-Gov. Timothy M. Kaine.

Mary Jane H. Lassiter joined BCG Companies as a plan specialist. Lassiter was previously at Cary Street Partners. She went to Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business.

Law

Luke T. Schmitt joined Vandeventer Black. Schmitt works on professional liability, construction law and commercial litigation. Schmitt went to college and law school at West Virginia University. Schmitt previously worked at Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP in Charleston, W.Va.

Technology

George Berry joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc., as a support specialist.

Brandon Hertel joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. as a support specialist.

Isiah Massenburg joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc., as a logistics courier.

Brandon Petock has recently joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc., as a support specialist.

Brent Ellis joined Big River as an account coordinator. Prior to joining Big River, Ellis was at Richmond-based Royall & Co. Ellis graduated from the University of Virginia in 2009.
