A Henrico-based distributor of HVAC controls and equipment has merged with another firm from New Jersey.
Founded in 1971, United Control is now a part of Wanamassa, New Jersey-based Industrial Controls Distributors LLC. Industrial Controls has operations in 22 states, and the newly acquired United Control will cover the Virginia territory.
Bill Ferguson, branch manager of United Control, will continue to lead the Virginia organization.
“We are committed to maintaining stability during this merger,” said Ferguson in a statement, “with our focus on expanding our collective product technologies to better serve our mutual customers.”
