“Miss UKrop’s? Support Us!” What a joke, although I will give these people credit for tapping into Richmonders’ often maniacal devotion to their old grocery store. I wonder specifically what employment practices at Martin’s are so bad? I knew plenty of people who worked for Giant years ago when they were in high school/college and none of them had any complaints. It’s not as though 8 year old kids are losing arms in meat grinders anymore, is there really a need for unionizing grocery clerks in the 21st century? It’s pretty simple actually.
