Robert W. Hughes joined FloranceGordonBrown as a director. He will focus his practice in commercial real estate.

Finance

Lee Chapman IV was appointed to the executive committee of Davenport & Company. He is senior vice president of executive administration. Chapman has been with the firm since 1995. He attended the University of Virginia.

George L. Smith III has been appointed to the executive committee of Davenport & Company. Smith is a senior vice president with Davenport Asset Management. He has been with the firm since 1997. Smith attended the University of Richmond.

Edward “Ted” F. Cole III has been appointed to Davenport & Company’s Board of Directors. Cole is a senior vice president in the firm’s public finance department and has been with Davenport since 2000. He attended the University of Richmond.

William R. B. Hershey has been appointed to Davenport & Company’s Board of Directors. He is a senior vice president in the firm’s accounting department and has been with Davenport since 1998. Hershey has an MBA from William and Mary and attended Washington and Lee.
