Law

David P. Pusateri was appointed deputy managing partner at McGuireWoods. He joined the firm in 2001 and was most recently a partner at the firm’s Pittsburgh office. Pusateri succeeds Nancy R. Little, a partner at the firm. He attended law school at Notre Dame.

Sarah Warren S. Beverly joined Sands Anderson in its risk management group. She served as a summer associate with the firm in 2010. She attended law school at the University of Richmond and James Madison University as an undergraduate.

Eric C. Howlett joined Sands Anderson in its business and professional litigation group. Howlett served as a summer associate with the firm in 2010. He attended law school at Washington and Lee University and the University of Virginia as an undergraduate.

Madelaine A. Kramer joined Moran Reeves & Conn as an associate. She attended law school at the University of Richmond.

Jamie T. Reed was appointed senior loan officer with Village Bank Mortgage Corporation. Reed was most recently a mortgage loan officer with Prime Lending.

Heather P. Barbour joined Axial Advisory Group as a senior associate. Barbour was previously with MG Miller Valuations as a commercial real estate appraiser. She has a master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Technology

Candace Hamlin joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. as a deskside support specialist.

Greg Hofbauer rejoined GroundWork Design as chief executive officer. Hofbauer was one of the company’s founders, but worked for Capital One the last seven years.

Consulting

Duncan K. Stewart was promoted to branch operations manager at MBP. Duncan joined MBP in 1999 as an engineer. He attended the Royal Military College of Canada.

Associations

Vanessa Diamond was promoted to vice president for the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence. Diamond was most recently director of HandsOn Greater Richmond and will continue to operate in that role as well. Prior to joining the Partnership, Diamond worked at Virginia Commonwealth University’s division of community engagement. She has a master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University and attended North Carolina State University as an undergraduate.

Laura Pilati joined the Nonprofit Learning Point as program assistant. Pilati was most recently completed a one-year AmeriCorps term of service at HandsOn Greater Richmond. She attended the University of Mary Washington.

Max Daniel joined the Nonprofit Learning Point. He currently attends Virginia Commonwealth University.

Matthew S. Lovetro was promoted to director of finance for United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). Lovetro was most recently assistant director of finance. Lovetro joined UNOS in 1999 as accounting manager. He attended Marshall University.

James A. Carleton was elected chair of the Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority (RRHA) Board of Commissioners

Elliott M. Harrigan was elected vice chair, of the Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority (RRHA) Board of Commissioners.

Leonard Reinhart joined Wealthcare Capital Management’s board of directors. He is the former president and founder of Lockwood. Reinhart attended the University of Rhode Island.
