Living Social is offering a $50 deal today for a four hour mixology class at The Professional Bartending Academy. As of Tuesday morning, 46 people purchased vouchers to try and become as the deal states, “Just as popular as Santa when guests come flocking to your stool with what’s really on their wish lists — a well-made drink.”

This sounds like a wonderful gift… and timely too. Specialty cocktails are all the rage these days, and mixologists (aka “cocktail chefs”) are truly rare.
It is still bar-tending. It became Mixology soon after Garbage Collectors changed into Sanitation Engineers. Mixology isn’t even in my web browser’s spell check yet…
