Banking

Richard Dickinson was promoted to president at Bank of Virginia. He was most recently executive vice president of the bank. Jack Zoeller, who has been president since December 2010, will remain chairman and chief executive. Dickinson attended the University of Richmond.

Michael A. Mancusi was elected director of Xenith Bankshares and Xenith Bank. Mancusi is managing director of FTI Consulting.

Accounting

Jordan Webb joined Meadows Urquhart Acree & Cook as a staff accountant. He was previously with Heritage Wealth Advisors. Webb is attending VCU for his MBA, and he attended the University of Mary Washington as an undergraduate.

Higher education

Diana Burkett joined the University of Richmond’s Office of Alumni and Career Services as communications manager. She previously worked at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. She has a master’s from Syracuse University and attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College as an undergraduate.

Katybeth Lee was promoted to manager of internship programs at the University of Richmond. Lee was formerly assistant director of career development at UR. She has a master’s degree from Ohio State University and attended William & Mary as an undergraduate.

Marketing

Denton Freeman joined Circle S Studio as a creative strategist and copywriter. Before joining the firm, Denton launched accessory design firm Poesis. Freeman attended the Medical College of Virginia and Sweet Briar College as an undergraduate.

Patty Riester joined Circle S Studio as an accountant. She previously worked for Timmons Group. Riester attended Virginia Tech.

Liz Loudy joined Circle S Studio as a junior copywriter. Loudy attended William and Mary.

Jordan McConnel joined Circle S Studio as an account coordinator. McConnel previously worked in Martha Stewart’s test kitchen in New York. McConnel attended Washington and Lee University.

Alana Kucharski was promoted to senior designer at Circle S Studio. She was most recently a graphic designer. Kucarski attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kristy May was promoted to senior designer at Circle S Studio. She was most recently a graphic designer. May is a former senior graphic designer for Wachovia Securities. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Libbie Hiner was promoted to account executive at Circle S Studio. She was most recently traffic manager and account coordinator. Hiner was formerly with Burford Advertising. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Glenn Childress was promoted to director of business development at Free Agents Marketing. Childress has been with Free Agents since April 2011.

Kelly Woody was promoted to account executive at Free Agents Marketing. Woody has been with Free Agents since 2006. She attended Virginia Tech.

Marisa Norona joined Free Agents Marketing as public relations account coordinator. She attended the University of the South in Tennessee.

Peter Elmore was promoted to senior vice president/director of client services at the Martin Agency. He was most recently vice president/business development. Elmore has been with the agency for 10 years. He attended Emory University.

Carey Ely has been named to the position of vice president/account director at the Martin Agency. She has been with the agency since July 2007 and works on the Discover and Moen accounts. Ely received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1998.

Susan Foster was promoted to senior vice president/account management resources manager at the Martin Agency. She joined the agency in 1992.

John McAdorey was promoted to vice president/executive broadcast producer at the Martin Agency. McAdorey has been with the agency since 2007.

Lynne Hughes joined the Medical Society of Virginia Foundation as the director of development. She was previously chief executive of Comfort Zone Camp, which she founded.

Matt Belton was promoted to manager of allocation analysis and quality inspection at the United Network of Organ Sharing. He was most recently quality management supervisor. Belton joined UNOS in 1999. He attended James Madison University.

Leonard Carinci was promoted to manager of case investigation and incident at UNOS. He joined the nonprofit in 2008. He has a master’s from Old Dominion University and attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and Longwood University as an undergraduate.

John L. Walker III was elected chairman of the board of governors of the Virginia Bar Association for 2012. Walker is an attorney for Williams Mullen.
