It’s good to be king

mayorkeepitrunning11Mayor Dwight Jones’s Suburban was spotted disobeying a “no parking” sign in front of Bistro 27 at lunch Thursday.

The good news is that everything on the lunch menu was half-priced.

The mayor is not the only one abusing his power. I don’t think any government employee in city of Richmond is concerned where they park. I once went to city hall to fight a parking ticket. Several people got out of being liable for their parking tickets simply by saying that they work for the city. I am still struggling to this day to figured out how is that an acceptable reason to illegally park.

This is what people hate about politicians and people in positions of authority – they think the rules do apply to them.

Why not? Taxpayers are already picking up the cost of the vehicle and driver to carry him around, might as well let him illegally park too!
