Candace Blydenburgh joined McGuire Woods as a partner. She focuses on environmental litigation.
Blydenburgh, was previously at Bowman and Brooke in Richmond. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1996 and went to UR as an undergraduate.

Jeremiah M. Yourth joined Owen & Owens and will practice in the areas of family law, civil and
commercial litigation, and employment law. Yourth graduated from the Albany Law School of Union University in 2009. As an undergraduate, Yourth attended the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.

Mortgage Lending

Ryan Charles opened a retail branch of Sierra Pacific Mortgage in Midlothian, VA. He formally was a partner with Virginia Mortgage Bankers. Charles graduated from Radford University in 2000.

Elizabeth Allen joined Sierra Pacific Mortgage as the marketing specialist. Allen attended Radford University.

Michael Flaherty joined Sierra Pacific Mortgage as a loan officer. Flaherty graduated from VCU.

Megan McAloon joined Sierra Pacific Mortgage as a loan officer. She formally was a branch manager for BB&T. McAloon graduated from University of Richmond in 2007.

Andrew W. Proctor joined Atlantic Mortgage & Investment Company as a partner. Proctor was previously at GE Capital Real Estate.

Bryan Callison joined Big River as a designer. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned his undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in creative technology from the University’s Brandcenter.

Kaitlin Beach joined The Martin Agency as an operations assistant. She was previously at SunTrust Mortgage. Beach attended James Madison University.

Rachael Holland joins The Martin Agency as a digital producer. She was at Mondial Assistance where she was a marketing specialist. Holland attended William & Mary.

Emily Mabry joined The Martin Agency as a planner. She was previously at Peter A. Mayer Advertising/New Orleans LA. Mabry graduated from Louisiana State University.

Lindsay Newport joins the agency as an analyst after serving as assistant director of development with the LSU Foundation. At Louisiana State University she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a Masters in Mass Communication.

Jake Perez joined The Martin Agency as a vice president/account director. Perez attended James Madison University and previously worked at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. in Washington, DC.

Jennifer Stuart, formerly a marketing coordinator for Holder Construction Company, joined The Martin Agency as a project manager. Stuart graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008.

Heidi LaGreca was promoted to a departments manager at PUNCH. She was previously a copy editor.

Erin Potter was named a creative department manager at PUNCH. She has been at the agency for six years as a graphic designer.

Elizabeth P. Crabtree was promoted to first vice president, financial services at Davenport & Company. She has been with the firm since 2006 and earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia.

Kyle A. Laux was promoted to first vice president, public finance at Davenport & Company. He has been with the firm since 2003 and graduated from Kenyon College.

Richard S. Looney was promoted to first vice president, fixed income at Davenport & Company. He has been with the firm since 2002 and graduated from Florida State University.

Merrill P. Cann was promoted to vice president, asset management at Davenport & Company. He has been with the firm since 2004 and graduated from the University of Virginia.

William R. Charlet was promoted to vice president, asset management at Davenport & Company. He has been with the firm since 2005 and graduated from Virginia Military Institute.

Robert A. Gragnani Jr was promoted to vice president, fixed income at Davenport & Company. He has been with the firm since 2006 and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Eric Harris joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. as an account manager.

James Flanigan joined Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. as a copier program manager.

Phil Pippert was named director of supply chain management (SCM) for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). Pippert has served in an acting capacity since June of last year. Pippert received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. He started his career at the State Corporation Commission, and worked in finance and IT procurement for Reynolds Metal Company and Capital One before joining VITA in 2004 as associate director of SCM.
