Lindsay M. Walton joined Macaulay & Burtch as an associate. Walton will focus her practice on government affairs and health-care law. She will represent health-care professionals in disciplinary actions, perform audit appeals and lobby the Virginia General Assembly.

Christian & Barton elected the following attorneys to partner:

Christopher M. Gill focuses his legal practice on commercial real estate, finance and environmental matters. Prior to joining the firm, he was a judicial clerk in the Virginia Beach Circuit Court. He attended the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia.

Belinda D. Jones is a commercial litigation attorney who represents clients in contractual disputes, health care, products liability, intellectual property and construction matters. Jones attended Georgia State University and the University of Virginia.

David B. Lacy is a litigation attorney who represents clients in a variety of employment and commercial disputes, products liability and intellectual property matters. He also assists media clients on prepublication, access and defamation matters. He attended the College of William & Mary and Southern Methodist University.
