John Braymer is retiring from his position as CEO of the Virginia Society of the American Institute of Architects after 28 years.

Anna K. Derewenda has joined Williams Mullen as a partner in the tax law section. She graduated from the University of Virginia. She also has degrees from Hofstra University and New York University.

Government

Paul Jez is director of finance for the city of Richmond.

Paul Van Lenten Jr. is chief financial officer for the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. He had been the legislative fiscal analyst with the House Appropriations Committee at the General Assembly.
