Kim Raab and Frank Hupfl have joined Geoff McDonald & Associates as associates. Raab is with the personal injury litigation section and the children and adolescent injury practice group. She has degrees from the State University of New York at Albany and Union University.

Hupfl is with the wage hour practice group and represents clients in workers’ compensation cases and all issues relating to workplace relationships. He has degrees from Northeastern University and the University of Richmond.

At Virginia529 College Savings Plan:

Timothy J. Sullivan of Williamsburg was appointed by the Senate Rules Committee to succeed Vincent Carpenter for the term ending June 30, 2017. Sullivan is president emeritus of The College of William and Mary.

Peter M. Vogt of Springfield was appointed by the Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates to succeed Fern Spencer for the term ending June 30, 2017. He is the owner of PMV Acquisition Consulting LLC.

Shawn P. McLaughlin of Alexandria was reappointed by Gov. Terry McAuliffe to a full term through June 30, 2019. He is the current chairman of the Virginia529 board and is the president and CEO of McLaughlin Ryder Investments Inc.

Reginald D. Samuel of Spotsylvania was appointed by McAuliffe to a full term through June 30, 2019. He succeeds Philip R. Langham. He is a managing partner of Leumas Capital.

Sport and Recreation

The Sports Center of Richmond reports the following promotions and new hire:

Tyler Pardue is general manager. He had been director of youth development. He will continue to oversee all youth programming including summer and holiday camps in addition to his new duties. He is a graduate of Longwood University.

Eileen Wynne is assistant general manager for business development and accounting. She will continue to handle the booking of corporate and special events. She is a graduate of West Virginia University.

Ray Pardue is director of facility operations and maintenance.
