Treatment using dantrolene

Provided are low-volume, safe for injection formulations of dantrolene yielding significant advantages over the currently approved and marketed dantrolene for malignant hyperthermia (MH) threatening anesthetic crisis. Once dantrolene can be made immediately available to patients triggered of MH, the anesthesiologist will be able to focus exclusively on the management of the patient’s physiologic status in this complex and evolving crisis, not on the laborious and time consuming reconstitution process of the rescue agent. The low volume, safe for injection formulations of dantrolene have significant advantages over currently used approaches to the prevention and treatment of pumphead, and other neurological, cognitive and motor dysfunction incident to iatrogenically or trauma induced situations of altered blood flow, including those incurred during surgical procedures involving CPB or related procedures, as well as those incurred during non-normothermic episodes caused iatrogenically or by disease.

A carton includes a top panel, a first side panel and a slot handle. The slot handle includes a line of separation extending across the top panel at a location spaced from the longitudinal center of the top panel. The slot handle includes a lifting edge spaced from the line of separation and disposed on one side of the line of separation. The slot handle further includes a first stress relief mechanism provided in the first side panel. The first stress relief mechanism includes a frangible line having a linear stem section that is acutely angled relative to a notional line normal to the hinged connection between the top panel and the first side panel. The stem section is angled away from the lifting edge and terminating in an arcuate stop at a location spaced below the hinged connection on the one side of the line of separation.

The path may be substantially parallel to the edge, and the edge may be located a distance from a reference point on the automatic cleaning device during movement of the automatic cleaning device.

A method of packaging two cylindrical cans having the same height and diameter includes partially erecting a sleeve from a blank so as to have a single opening at the bottom of the sleeve; arranging the two cylindrical cans side-by-side in the partially erected sleeve such that a side of each cylindrical can extends beyond an outer periphery of the sleeve; securing the cans in the sleeve by folding a cross-panel over the opening at a location between the two cans such that the opening is divided into two smaller openings sized to prevent the cans from passing therethrough; and wherein a measured distance from the cross-panel to a side panel of the sleeve in the two smaller openings is less than a diameter of one of the cylindrical cans.

Power supply system for a vehicle climate control unit

A truck includes an alternator having a direct current electrical power output. The truck also includes a combined inverter and charger unit having an alternating current electrical power output, a house battery and a starting battery. The combined inverter and charger unit is configured to charge the house battery and the starting battery. The truck further includes a day cab forming an interior space and a climate control unit for conditioning the interior space of the day cab. The climate control unit is adapted to be powered by an alternating current electrical source. The climate control unit is powered by the alternator through the combined inverter and charger unit when an engine of the truck engine is running, and is powered by the house battery or the starting through the combined inverter and charger unit when the engine is not running.
