Departures

Lisa Freiman has stepped down as director of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Institute for Contemporary Art, effective immediately. She will continue as a tenured faculty member of the VCU School of Arts.

Law

Todd P. Haymore has joined Hunton & Williams as managing director of the global economic development, commerce and government relations group, effective March 1.  He had been chief economic and workforce development officer under Gov. Terry McAuliffe.  He has degrees from the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University.

At KPM Law:

Matthew Liller, W. Ben Woody, Brian Clarry and Megan Cook have joined the firm as attorneys.

Helen Jhun, Randy Lenhart and Kevin Kennedy have been named partners.

Architecture

Shari Perago is director of interior design for Commonwealth Architects.  She had been with Habitus, a firm she founded.

Sierra Roman has been promoted to an associate with SMBW.  She is a graduate of James Madison University.

Nonprofits

Ann Miller Flippin is executive director of the Autism Society of Central Virginia.  She had been with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Virginia Chapter and is a graduate of James Madison University.

Tucker Martin has joined the MWCAdvocacy group of McGuireWoods Consulting as senior vice president.  He has degrees from Randolph-Macon College and The George Washington University.

Meryl Clark is manager of Covington Travel‘s meetings and events division.

Wendy Collins Perdue has been named president of the Association of American Law Schools.  She is the dean of the University of Richmond School of Law.

Joe Hines has been appointed chair of the alumni council with the board of visitors for the Duke Fuqua School of Business.  He is with Timmons.

Shellie Archer is executive director of the Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association.   She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University.
