Law

At Parker, Pollard, Wilton & Peaden:

Paula L. Peaden and Stephen E. Scarce have been named managing directors. Peaden is chair of the trust and estate, elder law, and tax section, and Scarce is chair of the business, real estate, and litigation section.

Meredith L. Yoder has been named administrative director and general counsel. H.R. (Harry) Pollard IV remains chairman of the board, and Donald W. Piacentini serves as treasurer.

Wyatt S. Beazley IV and Craig L. Rascoe have been elected to the board of directors at Williams Mullen.  Gregory R. Bishop was elected to fill the remaining two years of the board vacancy created by the departure of R. Brian Ball, who has joined Gov. Northam’s administration.  Beazley is the firm’s general counsel.

Cyndi Newsom has joined Linden Legal Strategies as its operations manager.

Leslie A. Winneberger has joined Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman as Of Counsel and will defend claims involving civil rights, labor and employment, local government, law enforcement and religious institutions.

Real Estate

At CBRE | Richmond:

Jimmy Martin has been promoted to assistant vice president.  He is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

Megan Sullivan has been promoted to senior associate.  She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.   

Accounting

Drew Throckmorton has been promoted to principal at YHB | CPAs & Consultants.  He had been a manager and is a graduate of Lynchburg College.

Engineering

At Bowman Consulting:

Brett Hammonds has been promoted to a project manager overseeing land development projects. He had been a project engineer.

Silvia Barrantes is a project engineer. She has degrees from the University of Costa Rica and Virginia Tech.  Zachary Davis is a right of way technician. He had been a yeoman and logistics specialist with the U.S. Navy.

Jeremy Gorden and Jon Waldron are civil CAD designers. Gorden is a graduate of Bridgewater State University.  Nick Kougoulis is director of transportation surveys in Virginia and is a graduate of the University of Richmond.

Todd Philipp is a senior project manager.  Danielle Spade is a receptionist.

Banking

Alec Schleicher is business relationship manager for the central Virginia banking group at Wells Fargo & Co.  He had been with Virginia Commercial Finance and is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

Nonprofits

Ria Freydberg is executive director of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Virginia Chapter.  She had been with the National Capital Area chapter and is a graduate of The George Washington University.

At the United Network for Organ Sharing:

Lindsay Larkin is a regional coordinator in its regional administration department. She had been with Medical Society of Virginia and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jonathan Cory Haskins is an acquisition specialist in its human resources department.  He had been with Fahrenheit IT and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

Priscilla Paciocco as a scrum master/project manager in support services.  She had been with the Virginia Lottery and is a graduate of Monroe Community College in Rochester, Ny.

Christopher Webb is a software engineer. He with Timmons Group and is a graduate of Christopher Newport University.

At Virginia Community Capital:

Margaret R. Fleischman is salesforce administrator.  She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Joe Trout is IT helpdesk support administrator.

Investments

Clay Hilbert is chief strategy officer for Alpha Omega.  He had been with Davenport and Co. and has degrees from Wake Forest University and Duke University.

At Adam Grossman is global equity chief investment officer. Tim Anderson is global fixed income chief investment officer.

Chris Konstantinos is chief investment strategist and will continue as director of international equity.

Rod Smyth has been promoted to director of investments and will serve as chairman of the investment committee.

Doug Sandler is global strategist. Rob Glownia has been promoted to fixed income portfolio manager.

Michael Jones is president and chief executive officer of the RiverShares Division and will remain chairman. Kevin Nicholson is chief operating officer of the RiverShares Division and will remain chief market strategist.
