Director William Hardy acquired 400 shares at $8.90 apiece for a total of $3,560.

Genworth Financial (GNW)

The insurer announced it will hold its 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on December 13, if its proposed merger with China Oceanwide Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (Oceanwide) has not yet been completed. If the meeting is held, it will take place at 9 a.m. at The Westin Richmond at 6631 W. Broad St.

Kinsale Capital Group (KNSL)

Chief information officer William Kenney Jr. exercised options for 13,750 shares at $16 per share or $220,000. He then sold the shares for $61.48 apiece for a total of $845,000.

Director Frederick Russell Jr. sold 1,000 shares at $60.74 apiece for a total of $60,740.

Union Bankshares (UBSH)

The parent of Union Bank & Trust said institutional investor CapGen Capital Group VI LP fully exited its position in Union common stock through a distribution to its limited partners.

The bank named Maria P. Tedesco as president effective Sept. 28. Tedesco, 58, was most recently COO for retail at BMO Harris Bank in Chicago and previously held positions at Santander Bank and Citizens Financial Group. She received her M.B.A from Northeastern University and her B.S. from Ithaca College.

Billy Beale, the bank’s former CEO, sold 1,000 shares at $40.45 apiece. He still owns more than 100,000 shares.
