Genworth Financial (GNW)

The Henrico-based insurer will hold its annual shareholders meeting on Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. at the Westin Richmond hotel. If the company’s deal to be acquired by China Oceanwide Holdings is completed prior to that date, the meeting will not be held.

Genworth also disclosed the compensation packages paid to its top executives in 2017. Among them, CEO Thomas McInerney received $8.96 million in total compensation, up from $8.54 million in 2016. That 2017 total included a base salary of $996,804, stock awards valued at $4.4 million, cash incentive pay of $3 million and $525,000 worth of other perks.
