Fred Russell, a director, sold 1,000 shares at $57.35 apiece for a total of $57,350. He still owns 50,000 Kinsale shares.
Union Bankshares (UBSH)
The company said it received regulatory and shareholder approval for its pending deal to acquire Access National Corp. in Northern Virginia. The deal is expected to close Feb. 1.
Village Bank and Trust Financial (VBFC)
Ken Lehman, Village’s majority shareholder, increased his stake in the company by 1,966 shares for $31.01 apiece for a total purchase of $60,965. He now owns more 716,987 shares.
