The planning commission meets Feb. 19. Business on the agenda includes public hearings on rezoning requests. Among them, Nash Road/Woodpecker Road LLC seeks to rezone nearly 33 acres at the northeast quadrant of Nash and Woodpecker roads for residential development, and Justin Farrish requests a conditional-use permit to allow a special events business on 70 acres at 15740, 15750 and 15760 River Road. Supervisors meets Tuesday at 3 p.m. Business includes a legislative update and a progress report on an ongoing update to the county’s zoning ordinance. An overview of reviews of the agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial districts will be presented. Full agenda here.

The planning commission meets Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Business includes a request deferred from January from Main Street Homes to rezone 98 acres at 2051 Manakin Road and 2102 Rockville Road to allow for up to 157 houses. Also on the agenda is a request from Reed Marsh LLC, tied to homebuilder Lawrence Liesfeld, to rezone 56 acres at 3089 River Road West to allow for 67 single-family home lots. Full agenda here.

The planning commission meets Feb. 14. Business includes a deferred presentation on a land use study of the Glen Allen area along and around Mountain Road. Hunt Club LLC seeks to rezone 19 acres on the south line of Bremner Boulevard east of Beth Road for a continuing care retirement community.

CA Senior Living Holdings seeks rezoning and a provisional-use permit to allow a life care facility on 5 acres at Parham and Derbyshire roads. Innsbrook Foundation requests a provisional-use permit to continue operation of the Innsbrook After Hours concert series. Full agenda here.

The planning commission meets Monday at 1:30 p.m. Business on the consent agenda includes an ordinance amendment to reflect the subdivision of Lee School Lofts into two parcels, 3101 and 3131 Kensington Ave., and to remove a condition that all dwelling units be converted to condos within five years of a certificate of occupancy.

Business on the regular agenda includes Harper & Associates’ request for a special-use permit to develop 1802 Semmes Ave. as a mix of 106 townhomes and about 4 acres of commercial space. Full agenda here.
