In an otherwise abnormal year, Richmond BizSense is pleased to renew an annual rite that may help remind us of what business was like before COVID-19 shook the world.
We’re proud to open applications for the eighth class of RVA 25, our yearly ranking of the region’s fastest-growing companies, presented by Keiter.
This popular list ranks and recognizes 25 companies with the highest average annual revenue growth over the last three calendar years – in this case, 2017-2019.
That range carries extra weight this year, as the rankings will be based on a company’s financial performance at the end of 2019, prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
Eligible companies must be headquartered in the Richmond region and have been in business for at least the last three full calendar years. That means your business must have launched prior to Jan. 1, 2017. And companies must have had a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in 2019.
As always, it’s free to participate by completing the survey and submitting all necessary documentation. The deadline is Aug. 21. Again, here’s a link to the survey.
The top 25 will be recognized in a list to be published for the entire BizSense audience in late September. In year’s past, the top 25 also was honored at an evening awards ceremony in early October. While a large gathering is likely out of the picture this year, awards are still in store with details to come.

And here’s a look at some of the previous years’ RVA 25 lists:
2018 – Battle Monument Partners, which boasted a three-year growth rate of 1,079 percent.
2017 – RVA Restoration – 4,737 %
