A relative newcomer to the Manchester development scene has grabbed another piece of Hull Street.
Shakil Siddiqui of Potomac, Maryland, last month purchased 1114 Hull St. for $1.17 million, city property records show.

Siddiqui entered the Richmond market late last year with his purchase of the former Lighthouse Diner property at 1228 Hull St. for $346,000 during the first of several government-approved auctions of property tied to embattled local businessman Michael Hild.
The latest deal, which closed Sept. 24, gives Siddiqui a half-acre site housing only a 1,000-square-foot garage. The plot was most recently assessed by the city at $430,000.
The seller in the deal was an entity tied to Michael Logan Jr., formerly of MGT Construction. Austin Newman of S.L. Nusbaum represented Logan in the deal.
It’s unclear what Siddiqui’s plans are for the site. Attempts to reach him were unsuccessful, and no plans have been filed with the city for 1114 Hull St. as of press time.
According to city land records, the two Hull Street parcels are the only land owned by Siddiqui’s purchasing entity, Hull Street Properties LLC.

Siddiqui has not wasted much time getting to work on the former Lighthouse site. About four months after closing on the land, he filed plans for a 24,000-square-foot mixed-use project including two dozen apartments on the site. The old diner building has been demolished.
