Richmond BizSense has added to its staff.

Glenn Rabinowitz serves as associate editor, ensuring clean copy by providing the final read for stories written by our Richmond reporters and our sister publication BusinessDen.com, in Denver, Colorado.

Rabinowitz, who is based in Denver, most recently spent five years as managing editor of the Pacific Coast Business Times in Santa Barbara, California. But his hiring represents something of a homecoming; prior to that, he was city editor of the Greeley Tribune.

He also previously held management roles at the San Jose Mercury News, the San Mateo County Times and The Sun in San Bernardino, California, among other publications, and was on the journalism faculty at San Francisco State University.

Rabinowitz has won many state and national journalism awards, including the Scripps Howard Foundation National Journalism Award for Web Reporting and the Edward J. Meeman Award for Environmental Reporting.
