Hue & Cry
created animations for new spots for MSNBC’s “All in with Chris Hayes.” The 30- and 15-second spots, by agency McKinney, feature animated scenes reflecting events in the news cycle over the past year. They’re posted on MSNBC and NBC properties on TV and online.

Poolhouse promoted Danny Laub to agency partner. He’s worked at the firm since 2019 and serves as vice president and political director.

Dotted Line was hired by The Container Store to publicize its entrance into the Richmond market. Work includes strategy development, PR and social media promotion in collaboration with TFB Agency. The agencies also handled in-person activities during the Short Pump store’s opening weekend.

The Martin Agency produced a campaign for clothing brand Hanes. The campaign promotes the brand’s Total Support Pouch product launch and includes a 30-second spot starring actor Tony Cavalero called “Achieving Ball-ance with Hans.” The campaign also included social media content.

Rian Chandler-Dovis

Brand Federation named Rian Chandler-Dovis as a managing partner. The Brandcenter alum and adjunct professor joins Kelly O’Keefe, Dennis Duffy and Matt Williams as an owner in the firm, where she has worked since 2019 and serves as vice president of brand strategy.

Addison Clark launched a new website for Caroline County Fire-Rescue. The mobile responsive site focuses on volunteer recruitment and community resources.

The Idea Center added three clients. The agency is refreshing the website for Viridiant, a Richmond-based green building nonprofit. It’s handling digital marketing for Bon Air-based Rejuvenation Skin Lab. And it’s developing a new website for 3DI, a graphic design firm in Shockoe Bottom.

Workshop Digital was hired by Any Length Retreat, a men’s addiction recovery clinic in Austin, Texas. Digital marketing work will include search engine optimization and strategic planning and implementation.

Todd Wright Photography was hired by the Virginia Wine Board to shoot stills and video for 2021 print, digital and motion branding initiatives.

Riddle Design Co. completed a rebrand for River City Food Tours, now called Discover Richmond Tours. The name change follows the company’s acquisition of Richmond Brewery Tours and reflects its line of curated Discover Richmond gift boxes. Riddle designed a new logo as part of the rebrand.
