Baseball is back in Richmond for one festive (and socially-distanced) afternoon in August! BizSense is thrilled to partner with The Flying Squirrels for our first corporate Home Run Derby on Aug. 26. How it works: We have slots open only for 25 local companies to bring ten employees/clients/family members/friends and let two of them take their rips at home plate in the derby. The rest of your crew will be cheering on from an assigned seating area exclusive to each company stocked with generous drinks and food and set up for maximum COVID-safety. Don’t miss this chance to reward your staff with a much-needed afternoon at the ballpark. Stick around for the final home run derby, where one batter per company will get 60 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible. And yes, we will move the fence in a bit. Maybe your company will come home with the batting trophy! Schedule of Events
  • 1:30-2:00 pm -Spectator Check-in 2:30-3:00 pm – Warm-up Round (2 batters per company)
  • 4:00-4:30 pm – Main Event (1 batter per company)
  • 5:30 pm – Final Round (top 3 batters with best score from Main Event)
By accepting the registration, companies and subsequent attendees agree to adhere to all mask and COVID-19 prevention regulations enforced by BizSense and The Diamond.

  • REFUND POLICY: BizSense will adjust the setup of this event should state health guidelines change and attendance figures are required to be reduced. Refunds will only be issued if the entire event is cancelled.
