Thalhimer reports Classic Construction Exteriors purchased a 2,500 square feet office/warehouse building in the Crossroads Business Center at 11624 Busy Street in Chesterfield from DSST Holdings for $315,000. The exterior remodeling company is moving from a smaller facility elsewhere in the county.

Grubb & Ellis | Harrison & Bates reports Manakin Holdings purchased the former Hon manufacturing facility (total of 375,600 square feet) at 11200 and 11300 Old Stage Road in Chesterfield County from HNI Corporation for $5.3 million. The facility is currently tenanted by Virginia T’s, an imprintable clothing distributor, with 200,000 square feet and Jacobson Companies, a third-party logistics provider, with 50,000 square feet.

CB Richard Ellis reports Southwest Plastic Binding Company, a lamination, binding, and office supply company, has leased 25,000 square feet at 6601 S. Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County.

Merrill Lynch leased 23,400 square feet at 707 E. Main St in downtown Richmond.

Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists leased 19,600 square feet at 7611 Forest Avenue in Henrico County.

The U.S. Geological Survey leased 15,400 square feet at 1700 E Parham Road in Hanover County.

In Mechanicsville, a subsidiary of Budget Self Storage purchased 6.2 acres off of Mechanicsville Turnpike from the Patrick Group for $2.3 million. The company plans to develop a self storage facility. Have Site Will Travel and General Land of Virginia represented the seller and buyer respectively.
