Seltek earns computer examiner certification for computer forensics

Richmond, VA (March 1, 2010). Patrick Logan, principal and director of Forensic Operations with Seltek Inc. has earned the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE®) certification from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE).  He is one of only 1,200 examiners across 28 countries who have earned the CCE certification.

Logan has 24 years experience specializing in computer forensics and the design and support of IT systems. With the CCE certification, Logan will be qualified as an expert witness to testify in court in cases such as fraud and theft, divorce and custody, breach of contract and employee termination.

Forensic analysis and proper examination of digital evidence requires technical, analytical, and investigative skills. This process can involve anything from to recovering and analyzing files from hard drives to finding hidden or deleted evidence.  Seltek can provide skilled investigators who know where to find evidence and how to manage it through proper chain-of-custody practices.
Seltek is a technical support and data recovery company located in Richmond, VA.  It is the only independent firm in the state outside northern Virginia with the CCE credential. Seltek’s certified technicians identify, preserve, and analyze potential evidence from personal computers, laptops, servers, cell phones, tape cartridges, and any other type of media. In addition to computer forensics, IT services, and electronic discovery, Seltek also provides IT staffing solutions for corporate clients. For more information visit www.seltekinc.com.
