Reigning Two Years in a Row: Mondial Assistance Wins National Travel Industry Award

RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 04, 2010 – For the second year in a row, Mondial Assistance was honored by the travel industry’s most influential national trade publication for innovation in travel technology. The company was presented a silver medal by the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards in the area of online travel services for its AgentMax travel agent software.

The newly enhanced desktop software program features easy claims filing through a direct link, the ability to modify a policy directly from AgentMax, onscreen plan comparison, an email quote feature, and the ability to sell plans with add-ons within the same transaction. AgentMax is designed to help travel agents access Mondial’s Access America® travel insurance quickly and easily.

The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards honor the best in travel and salute outstanding travel professionals in a broad range of industry segments, including hotels and resorts, travel destinations, cruise lines, online travel services, airlines and airports, travel agents and agencies, tour operators, and car rental companies.

To uphold this high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners, or may have no winners at all.
