Plaintiff alleges her former employer is in violation of the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 and Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Plaintiff gave employer notice of her hospitalization due to a pregnancy-related illness. While taking medical leave plaintiff enrolled her daughter in the company’s group health insurance plan. Plaintiff later found out she had been terminated while out from work and her health insurance plan had been canceled. Plaintiff seeks reinstatement of her position and lost wages and benefits.
