Maggie D. Finnegan joined Vandeventer Black. She focuses on professional liability defense, construction, insurance defense and products liability defense. Finnegan went to Virginia Tech and went to law school at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining Vandeventer Black, she worked at O’Hagan Spencer.

Donna Booth joined H&A Architects & Engineers as a senior HVAC designer. She was formerly a mechanical designer with H C Yu & Associates.
Eric Scott is a senior plumbing designer at H&A Architects & Engineers. He was formerly a senior plumbing designer with H C Yu & Associates.
Tyler Cragel joined Baskervill as a project designer. He went to Alfred State College SUNY College of Technology. He was previously at nbj Architecture of Glen Allen.
Jevon Brookes joined Baskervill as a project designer. He went to Hampton University and was previously at Becker Morgan Group in Salisbury, Md.
Maurice Glass joined Baskervill as a project designer. He went to Hampton University and was previously employed by Baxter Bailey & Associates and Thomas Hamilton & Associates of Richmond.
Alfred Walker joined Baskervill as an electrical designer. He holds went to John Tyler Community College and previously worked at Truland Services in Richmond.
Wayne Alexander recently rejoined Baskervill. Alexander is a project architect with the health-care division.

Janis Carrell joined Sunbelt Business Brokers as a senior broker. Carrell was previously a business broker with Atlantic Business Consultants. She has a bachelor’s degree from Longwood University and a master’s from the University of Richmond.

Magnus Nilsson joined KLMK Group Inc. as a senior consultant. Magnus was previously at BDR. Magnus went to the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Major employers
Diane Teer is the new president of the food packaging business at MeadWestvaco. Teer most recently served as president of World Kitchen LLC. Teer also spent nine years at the Campell Soup Company. She attended the University of Western Ontario and has an MBA from McMaster University.
