Banking
Ryan Ammann was promoted to vice president at BB&T. Ammann, who joined the bank in 2006, is a community development specialist in BB&T’s CRA/Community Development department. Ammann went to Appalachian State University.

Tammy Ferguson was promoted to assistant vice president/Chester branch of Bank of Virginia.

Jane Wagner was promoted to vice president/main office of Bank of Virginia.

Law
Joseph A. Perini was promoted to partner at Meyer Goergen & Marrs. Perini, a 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia and a 2003 graduate of the law school at the University of Richmond, has been with MGM since 2003.

Richard C. “Chip” Cunningham was promoted to shareholder at Hirschler Fleisher. He attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and for law school.

Seth Ginther was promoted to shareholder at Hirschler Fleisher. Ginther attended Virginia Tech and went to law school at the University of Richmond.

David Spiro was promoted to shareholder at Hirschler Fleischer. He went to the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and for law school.

Robbie Westermann was promoted to shareholder at Hirschler Fleischer. He went to the University of Virginia and has a law degree from Washington and Lee.

Commercial real estate
Dodson Property Management had the following moves: Elizabeth Cane was hired as a property manager. Tim Wehner and Chet Fisher were promoted to property manager. Jill Eades was promoted to operations manager. Dave Valentine was hired as director of business development.

The Virginia Bar Association (VBA) is conducting a nationwide search for an executive director.
