Bruce Swanson joined Wunderlich Securities as senior vice president. He went to UR and has an MBA from VCU, according to his LinkedIn page.

Law

Cullen D. Seltzer joined Sands Anderson. He focuses on class action and mass tort settlement law.  He attended Mary Washington College as an undergraduate and went to law school at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining Sands Anderson, Seltzer was partner at SeltzerGreene.

Jen West has been elected shareholder and director at Spotts Fain. She focuses on creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy. West attended Virginia Tech as an undergraduate and went to law school at William and Mary.

Banking

Robert Bhat was promoted to officer at Wells Fargo. Bhat joined Wells Fargo in 2005 as a relationship manager. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Staffing

David Hignett joined Triumph Services as an IT Recruiter.  Prior to joining Triumph, Hignett was at Ducts Unlimited.

Christy Gasiorowski joined Barber Martin Agency as a media buyer. Gasiorowski previously worked for Circuit City and S&K Famous Brands. She attended Liberty University.

Aly Sawi joined Barber Martin Agency as a junior art director. Sawi previously worked for Headgear Inc. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Katy Holder joined Free Agents Marketing as an executive liaison. She was formerly the director of marketing and operations at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Holder attended Tulane University.

Diana Sisson joined Free Agents Marketing as an interactive content coordinator. She has an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Tammy Castillo joined Free Agents Marketing as a studio manager. She was a former manager at Circuit City. Castillo attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Matt Lawrence joined Free Agents Marketing as a studio manager. He was formerly manager of design and production for Ukrop’s Super Markets. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Browning Augustine joined Free Agents Marketing as a traffic manager. She previously served as production and traffic manager for Neathawk, Dubuque & Packett. Augustine attended Sweet Briar College.

Elizabeth Hill joined Free Agents Marketing as an account coordinator for the account services department. She attended the University of South Carolina.

Ken Odor has joined the Goochland Gazette as editor. Odor was named interim editor last December. He is a former editor for the Mechanicsville Local.

Charles Myers joined uShip Freight as general manager. Myers was previously director of international business development with England Logistics and former chief executive officer of getloaded.com.
