Departures
James “Jim” Roberts, a partner at Troutman Sanders, will retire at the end of the year. In 1957, Roberts joined the firm of Tucker, Mays, Moore & Reed, which later became Mays & Valentine and, in 2001, Troutman Sanders. He attended law school at the University of Richmond and studied as an undergrad at Hampden-Sydney.
Rick Boyko, director of VCU’s Brandcenter, is retiring. He has held the position since July 2003. Boyko was formerly co-president and chief creative officer for advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather. You can read more here.

Andrew J. Blanchard was promoted to counsel at Hunton & Williams. He joined the firm in 2005 and focuses on corporate finance, asset securitization and structured finance transactions.

Richard D. Dickinson joined the Bank of Virginia as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Most recently, he was senior credit officer and executive vice president of commercial real estate at SunTrust Bank. Dickinson attended the University of Richmond.

Paul F. Silver was elected chairman and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer. Silver joined Thalhimer in 1984 and has served as president of the firm since 1992. Silver will remain chief executive officer. He has served as CEO since 1996. If he was already CEO, was he just elected chairman?
Lee Warfield has been promoted to president at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer. Warfield joined Thalhimer in 1995 and served most recently as executive vice president.
Evan M. Magrill was promoted to executive vice president at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer. Magrill joined Thalhimer in 1993 and served most recently as a senior vice president.

Christopher J. Corrada has joined Riverstone Properties as principal. He was formerly vice president for development manager at East West Partners of Virginia.
