James “Jim” Roberts, a partner at Troutman Sanders, will retire at the end of the year. In 1957, Roberts joined the firm of Tucker, Mays, Moore & Reed, which later became Mays & Valentine and, in 2001, Troutman Sanders. He attended law school at the University of Richmond and studied as an undergrad at Hampden-Sydney.
Rick Boyko, director of VCU’s Brandcenter, is retiring. He has held the position since July 2003. Boyko was formerly co-president and chief creative officer for advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather. You can read more here.
