Law

Tiffany J. Bagwell joined Troutman Sanders as an associate in its multifamily housing practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Bagwell was an associate at Sinnott, Nuckols & Logan. She attended law school at the University of Richmond and went to William and Mary as an undergraduate.

Peter D. Strup joined Troutman Sanders as an associate in its multifamily housing practice group. Strup was formerly a project attorney at BrownGreer. He went to the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and for law school.

Finance

Bebe Jessee joined Monarch Mortgage as a loan officer. She was formerly with MetLife Home. She attended Elon University.

Byron L. Boston was promoted to president of Dynex Capital Inc. He joined Dynex in 2008 as executive vice president and chief investment officer.

Brett N. Bond joined Cary Street Partners as managing director in the firm’s investment banking division. Bond was previously a managing director of Triarch Partners, which he co-founded in 2003.

Pamela Embrey joined Virginia Asset Management as a financial adviser. She was most recently with Commonwealth Financial Network.

Architecture

T.K. Farleigh was appointed to a senior associate at Baskervill. Farleigh has served as director of MEP engineering for the firm since 2006. He attended Virginia Military Institute.

Krin Kirijas was promoted to associate at Baskervill. Kirijas has been an interior designer with the firm since 1998. Kirijas attended Washington State University.

Jeffrey W. Taylor Jr. was promoted to associate at Baskervill. He was most recently a project designer. Taylor attended Virginia Tech.

Recreation

Feisal Hassan joined Midlothian Tennis Club as general manager and director of tennis. He was previously director of tennis at facilities in Northern Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Costello was promoted to senior strategic planner at the Martin Agency. She was formerly a strategic planner and has worked for the agency since May 2010. Costello attended the University of Texas at Austin.

Ashley Covington was promoted to project coordinator at the Martin Agency. She was formerly operations assistant and has been with the agency since June 2010. Covington attended Hollins University.

Matt Davis was promoted to associate creative director from senior art director at the Martin Agency. He joined the agency since 2008. Davis attended Texas Tech University.

Christina Dick was promoted to community manager from junior local broadcast buyer at the Martin Agency. Dick joined the agency in June 2010. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Britta Dougherty was promoted to account director from account supervisor at the Martin Agency. Dougherty has been with the agency for more than six years. Dougherty attended Davidson College.

Rina Amin was promoted to account executive at Big River. Amin joined the agency in 2010. She formerly worked for WellPoint. Amin has a master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sarah Trickey was promoted to director of account management at Big River. Trickey joined the agency in 2011. She formerly worked for McCann-Erickson in London. She attended Towson University.

Brenna Newman joined Apex Systems Inc. as assistant general counsel. Newman was previously with Troutman Sanders.

HR

Rachel Bender Meyer joined the Titan Group as director of human resources talent. Meyer was previously a division director at the BOSS Group.

Boards

Rick Glass, manager of conference development and the University of Richmond’s Jepson Alumni Center, was appointed to the board of directors for the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors – International.

Jason L. Hetherington was elected to the board of directors of Harrison & Bates. Hetherington has been with the firm for 22 years

Charles M. “Chip” Louthan was elected to the board of directors of Harrison & Bates. Louthan has been with the firm five years.
