Departures

Michael Walker, chairman of Hirschler Fleischer’s business section, will leave the firm. He will become president of Utility Services Associates in Chester within two months.

Law

Edward C. “Ted” Soto joined Goodman Allen & Filetti as executive director. Most recently, Soto was chief administrative officer in the legal division at Wachovia Securities.

Martin Boyle joined O’Hagan Spencer as an associate. He was most recently with McGuireWoods.

Eve Grandis Campbell joined O’Hagan Spencer as a partner. She was most recently a partner with Williams Mullen.

Jayne Armstrong joined the Richmond district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration as director. Armstrong was formerly with the SBA’s Office of Advocacy. She attended West Virginia University. You can read more about her in a Times-Dispatch story here.

Carey Kendrick was promoted to business information systems manager at H&A Architects. Kendrick is an associate of the firm. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

LaTonya Whitaker was promoted to marketing and communications manager at H&A Architects. Whitaker was most recently an associate of the firm. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sue Davis joined Piedmont Independent Fiduciaries as vice president client services and operations. Davis was most recently with Wachovia Securities.

Phil Barbato joined PUNCH as a web developer. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Adrienne E. Goolsby joined the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority as chief executive. Goolsby was most recently with the Chicago Housing Authority. She has an MBA from Northwestern University and attended Spelman College.

Michael R. Place joined Integrated Global Services as regional sales manager. Most recently, he served as director of sales for the NanoSteel Company.
