Mark A. Herzog, executive director of the Virginia Biotechnology Association, will leave his position effective June 1. Herzog has been the director for almost 12 years. He will join Health Diagnostic Laboratory as senior vice president of corporate and governmental affairs.

Banking

Matthew J. Buckley joined SunTrust bank as senior vice president of its private wealth management division. He was previously at the CapGroup. He has an MBA from the College of William & Mary and attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate.

Real estate

Malcolm Randolph was promoted to senior vice president at CBRE. He joined CBRE in 2003 as an associate broker.

Higher education

David Benedict was promoted to interim director of athletics at Virginia Commonwealth University effective May 12. Benedict was formerly executive associate athletic director. He will replace Norwood Teague, who has accepted the position of director of athletics for the University of Minnesota. Benedict has a master’s from New Mexico Highlands University and attended Southern Utah University as an undergraduate.

Mary Ann Davies joined Siddall as director of integration. Davies was formerly with Big River Advertising. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

David Neale was promoted to executive creative director for copy writing at Siddall. He has been with the agency for six years. Neale attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jill Contreras was promoted to project manager at Siddall. She has been the agency for two years and was formerly with Mondial Assistance. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Randy Howard joined First American Title, National Commercial Services as vice president and commercial counsel.

Cindy Bartolacci joined Digital Benefit Advisors as a senior adviser. She attended Auburn University.

Kevin Schneider was promoted to president and chief executive of Genworth Financial’s Global Mortgage Insurance division. Schneider was formerly president and CEO of U.S Mortgage Insurance. He joined Genworth in 2003. Schneider has a master’s from Northwestern University and attended Cornell University as an undergraduate.

Health care

Connie Salinas joined South River Compounding Pharmacy as public relations coordinator. Previously, she worked at BancMarc.
Associations

Carol Burch joined United Network of Organ Sharing as administrative assistant/production assistant in communications. She was previously at Donate Life America. Burch attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Brooke Chenault joined United Network of Organ Sharing as data quality specialist in IT. She last worked for Insmed.

Christine Nunn joined United Network of Organ Sharing as a site surveyor. She was formerly with US Renal Care. Nunn attended Lynchburg College.

Dean Wilson joined United Network of Organ Sharing as a service desk specialist in IT. He was formerly with Wells Fargo Bank. Wilson attended Virginia Tech.

Hank Coleman Jr. joined Southside Community Development and Housing Corporation as president and chief executive. Coleman was formerly a director with the National Development Council. He attended Virginia Tech.
