Insurance

Pam Davis is an adviser at Digital Benefit Advisors, a division of Digital Insurance. Davis attended James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Staffing

Mark Sturges joined UDig. as an account manager.

Architecture/design

Mamta Patel joined Progressive Design as an engineer. Patel was previously with LONCO.

Teresa Porter joined Progressive Design as an administrative assistant. Porter was previously with Old Glory Companies.

Joe Melvin joined Progressive Design as an engineer. Melvin was previously with the Stellar Group.

Steve White joined Progressive Design as an engineer. White was previously with Blueprint Automation.

Ryan Awad joined Progressive Design as a mechanical designer.

Steven L’Heureux is now an architect at Commonwealth Architects. He has worked there for five years.

Marketing/public relations

Katie Hellebush has joined the Alliance Group as vice president of government affairs. She formerly worked at the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association and before that at the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Hellebush graduated from the University of Richmond in 2005.

Finance/wealth management

Duke Dolan was appointed to Davenport and Co.’s executive committee. He is a senior vice president in the firm’s fixed income department and has been with Davenport since 1993. Dolan graduated from the University of Virginia.

Cheryl Ann Hatcher has been promoted to senior vice president, asset management at Davenport and Co. She has been with the firm since 1997 and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Joseph D. Mason has been promoted to senior vice president, public finance at Davenport and Co. He has been with the firm since 2006 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Geoffrey A. Sulanke has been promoted to senior vice president, asset management at Davenport and Co. He has been with the firm since 2004 and received his MBA from the College of William and Mary and his undergraduate degree from James Madison University.
