Midlothian Antique Center is a thing of the past.
The 15-year-old antique mall was shut down last Tuesday by landlord Diversified Realty Ventures. The mall was at 13581 Midlothian Turnpike in Midlothian Station Shopping Center.
Spillman Short, principal at the real estate firm, said the tenant was behind on the rent even though vendor sales were good.
“I would anticipate that it will be reopened in the near future,” he said.
Diversified Realty Ventures bought the shopping center six years ago, Short said.
Real estate brokerage CBRE manages the property. A release for the company said the landlord would allow vendors on the property to get their things.
