CFO Joseph Pennington is resigning form the Bank of Virginia effective Oct. 19 to pursue other business opportunities. The bank said a search is underway for his replacement.

Real Estate

Loretta Cataldi joined Colliers International as a senior vice president on the retail brokerage team. She was previously at Thalhimer.

Ann Strader joined Coldwell Banker Johnson & Thomas as an associate broker. She previously worked at ReMax.

Evan Garrison was promoted to senior associate at StreamCo. Before joining StreamCo, Garrison held positions at Thalhimer|Cushman & Wakefield and Costar Group.

Commonwealth Commercial Partners announced three promotions:

Hawes “Hank” Campbell, IV has been promoted to first vice president. Campbell joined the firm in 2001 and helped start Commonwealth Land, a division of Commonwealth Commercial Partners, in 2010.  Campbell specializes in commercial and agricultural real estate.

William J. Buhrman has been promoted to senior sales and leasing associate. Joe joined in 2002 and is also a founding member of Commonwealth Land.

Morgan Trible has been promoted to senior sales and leasing associate. Morgan joined the firm in 2004.

Trucking

Getloaded announced the following new hires:

David Bradshaw joined as sales manager. Bradshaw attended Virginia Commonwealth University and was previously a digital sales director for Media General.

Shannon Sady joined as an interaction/visual designer. Most recently, Sady served as user experience visual designer for Snagajob. Sady attended Virginia Tech.

Technology

Networking Technologies and Support, Inc. announced these new hires:

Samuel Rohm and Chris Wood both joined as a deskside support specialist.
Nefertiti Karim joined as an intern.

Crystal Overman joined Sklar Technology Partners. Overman will manage the firm’s automated back-up and disaster recovery services.

Wealth Management

John G. Jordan, III joined Heritage Wealth Advisors as the investment management director. Jordan has more than twenty years of experience in the investment management industry.

Law

Hirschler Fleischer announced two additions to Hirschler Fleischer Consulting:

Curry A. Roberts is a principal with Hirschler Fleischer Consulting. Roberts was previously the head of the State Fair.

Jay S. Poole is a principal with Hirschler Fleischer Consulting. He has thirty years of experience in government relations, communications, and strategic planning.

Melanie A. Friend has been named a partner at CowanGates. She focuses on family law.
Banking

Robert B. Eastep joined Union First Market Bankshares as president of Union Mortgage Group, Inc. Eastep was previously senior vice president and chief financial officer for Central Virginia Bankshares.

Union First Market Bankshares also promoted Rachael R. Lape to senior vice president and general counsel. Lape was previously vice president and associate general counsel.

The King Agency announced these new hires:

Mary Weidner joined the agency as director of strategic development. She has more than twenty years of experience in the industry.

Mary Beth Thomsen will be the agency’s senior account executive. She previously worked at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
