Alexandria “Sandy” Lewis has been named director of the Virginia Treatment Center for Children at Virginia Commonwealth University and assistant professor of psychiatry in the VCU School of Medicine.

Keith Gill will serve as the University of Richmond’s new director of athletics. Before joining UR, Gill was the athletic director at American University.

Law

Hunton & Williams promoted two people to counsel:

Ryan A. Becker is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on consumer finance and business litigation. He has experience in federal and state trial courts across the country.

Rita Davis focuses her practice on business torts, complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage disputes, personal injury litigation and alcohol beverage control regulation. Davis has also done almost 1,000 hours of pro bono work.

Troutman Sanders announced these hires:

Anne Hampton Andrews is an associate in the firm’s regulatory compliance and government litigation practice group. Before working at Troutman Sanders, she was a law clerk in the Supreme Court of Virginia. She attended the College of William & Mary.

Doug Boyle is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice group. Prior to working at Troutman Sanders, Boyle was an associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. He attended the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond.

Kelsey Farbotko is an associate in the firm’s health-care practice group. Before working at Troutman Sanders, she served as a legal intern for the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. She attended the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia.

Stan Hammer is an associate in the white collar and government investigations and the intellectual property practice groups. Previously, Hammer was a law clerk in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Virginia. He attended the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia.

Scott Kelly is an associate in the firm’s financial services litigation practice group. Previously, Kelly was a law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He attended Washington & Lee University and the University of Virginia.

Amanda Soberick is an associate in the firm’s regulatory compliance and government litigation practice group. Before joining Troutman Sanders, she was as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court. She attended the College of William & Mary and Virginia Tech.

S.R. Sidarth is an associate in the firm’s multifamily housing practice group. Sidarth attended George Washington University and the University of Virginia.

Michael Warwick is an associate in the firm’s real estate development and acquisition practice group. Warwick attended the College of William & Mary and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Brandon Sieg joined Vandeventer Black as an associate. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and the College of William & Mary.

Magnus Hierta joined as a creative director in Running With Scissors, the agency’s in-house post-production unit. He was preciously a freelance designer, animator and art director in Los Angeles.

Nik Piscitello joins as associate creative director/art director from TBWA/Chiat Day, L.A. He’s also worked with Team One and AKQA.

Bradley P. Smith joined the Virginia Eye Institute as chief executive. He has more than 30 years of health-care executive experience.

Tim Joyce will be the new president and chief executive of the YMCA of Greater Richmond. He succeeds Barry M. Taylor, who is retiring from the organization effective Dec. 31.

Jay Hugo is a principal at 3north, a firm that provides architecture, landscaping, interior design and graphic design services.

Diane Lewis is a real estate broker with Long & Foster.
