Brian Jackson joined Hirschler Fleischer as a partner. Jackson, a longtime Richmond attorney with 25 years of industry experience, was previously vice president and general counsel for Ukrop’s Super Markets. Jackson attended Virginia Commonwealth University and the College of William and Mary Law School.
John Daniel and Lynne Rhode have joined Williams Mullen as partners. Both attorneys were previously with Troutman Sanders and bring considerable experience to Williams Mullen’s existing environmental practice. Daniel attended the University of Richmond and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College. Rhode attended the London School of Economics, the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina.

Neathawk Dubuque & Packett announced the following personnel moves:
Michelle Antolini Ward joined as controller. Ward comes to ND&P from Bizport LTD. and the McCammon Group LTD, where she managed accounting operations for investor-owned-and-operated companies.
Todd Foutz was promoted to first director of account service. Foutz, who joined ND&P with the acquisition of the Packett Group in 2004, has more than 25 years of agency experience, including time with the Martin Agency and Earle Palmer Brown.
Sales
C. Hunter Fairchild joined Soluble Systems as territory manager for central and eastern Virginia, including Charlottesville, Richmond and Virginia Beach. He attended Lynchburg College.
Energy
James O. Ellis has been nominated to serve on the Dominion board of directors. Ellis retired as president and chief executive of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, where he served from 2005 to 2012. He retired from active duty in the U.S. Navy in July 2004 as an admiral.
Development
East West Communities announced the following promotions:
Kathy Pearson is now chief operating officer and chief financial officer. She joined the company in 1979 and was previously with Ernst and Ernst.
Eric Wirt was promoted to senior vice president of technology. He joined the company in 1999 and was previously a consultant.
Daniel Jones is now vice president and project manager of Hallsley, East West’s newest acquisition in Midlothian. He joined the company in 2005 and was previously a finance security analyst for the Pentagon in Baghdad.
Jim Crowder was promoted to executive vice president of finance and accounting at HHHunt. He spent 14 years as the firm’s vice president of finance and accounting. Crowder will oversee all of the firm’s corporate finance and accounting functions.

Fahrenheit Finance announced the following hires:
Rachel Antrobus joined as a senior consultant. Antrobus is a certified public accountant with both public accounting and private industry experience. She attended James Madison University.
Russ Gambrel joined as a senior consultant. Gambrel is a senior business consultant and project manager with more than 17 years of industry experience. Russ attended Baylor University.
Gary Levine joined as a director, fractional CFO and controller. Levine is a certified public accountant and CFO with more than 25 years of experience. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University.
Christine Polk joined as a fractional CFO and controller. Polk is a certified public accountant with more than 25 years of experience providing accounting services to a variety of clients. She attended the College of William and Mary.
Samantha Fleck joined as a fractional controller. Prior to joining Fahrenheit, Fleck worked with private industry, a nonprofit and a private-equity-backed business. She attended Virginia Tech University.
Salina Scioscia joined as a fractional controller. Before joining Fahrenheit Finance, Salina was acting controller for a nonprofit hospital in New York. She attended Marist College.

Kelly Cannon joined the World Pediatric Project as vice president of development for the Richmond office. She was previously director of development and special events for An Achievable Dream, a nonprofit organization in Newport News, and executive director of Virginia21. Cannon attended the College of William & Mary.
Joseph H. Maroon has been named executive director of the Virginia Environmental Endowment. Maroon will replace Gerald P. “Jerry” McCarthy, who is retiring this spring. Maroon was previously director of the state Department of Conservation and Recreation.
