Giles Harnsberger stepped down as programs manager for the Storefront for Community Design. She will stay on as a volunteer.

Amanda Robinson will step down from her position at Gallery5. She launched the Jackson Ward gallery in 2005 and previously served as executive director.

Davenport & Company announced the following promotions:

Chuck Gomer has been promoted to senior vice president, Davenport asset management.

A. Churchill Young IV has been promoted to senior vice president, investments.

Brian Lucas has been promoted to managing director at Harris Williams & Co.

Barbara Woodburn was promoted to vice president with Village Bank Mortgage Corporation and manager of their Hanover office. Woodburn is active with the Women’s Council of Realtors and is on the board of directors for the Richmond Mortgage Bankers Association and the Partnership for Housing Affordability.

Ryan Rinn joined Storefront for Community Design as interim executive director. He was previously project manager for the Highland Park Quality of Life initiative for the City of Richmond and director of grassroots education at the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy.

Linda V. Schreiner has been elected to the board of directors of the Virginia War Memorial Educational Foundation. She is a senior vice president of MeadWestvaco and also serves as vice chairman of the VCU Rice Center Board, vice president of the board of ChildSavers and a member of the board of directors of Union First Market Bankshares Corporation.

Stephen “Taylor” Goodman Jr. has been appointed a corporate vice president at Balzer and Associates. He has been with the company for seven years and attended Virginia Tech.

Sports

Kim Lewis has been promoted to men’s basketball assistant coach at the University of Richmond. Lewis has been Richmond’s director of basketball operations for the past two seasons. He had 11 years of Division I college coaching experience before joining the Spider staff for the 2011-12 season.

Marketing

Melody Donovan-Hopkins joined Verisk Health as director of human resources. She has more than 16 years of industry experience.

Mike Broggie joined the Hodges Partnership as the COO of Hodges Digital Strategies and vice president for business development. He has 25 years of industry experience and attended California State University.

Law

Diane Flannery joined McGuireWoods as a partner. Flannery was previously a partner in Jones Day’s Atlanta office and has 20 years of experience trying cases and managing litigation. She attended the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia School of Law.
